Daniel is an equity analyst for Vantage Investment Partners, LLC where he sources, analyzes and manages investments on behalf of the firm. He has almost ten years of investment and finance experience. Most recently, he served as an investor and advisor to PRL, LLC, a Kansas City-based privately held laboratory services business which was sold to Lab Corp (NYSE: LH). Prior to that, Daniel spent four years in San Francisco as an investment analyst for SPO Partners, a $10Bn concentrated long-only value-oriented investment fund, and Scout Capital Management, a $7Bn long/short public equity hedge fund. He began his finance career in 2009 in New York as an analyst for Morgan Stanley’s investment banking practice, advising healthcare clients on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets.
Daniel holds an MBA with an emphasis in finance from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, where he was a Brown Alternatives Fellow. He graduated summa cum laude with a BA in economics from Colgate University, where he was an academic All-America selection and captain of the men’s soccer team.
